- Sep 14, 2011 The Olympus VN-8100PC is a great voice recorder for people on the go. I use it to keep notes for later action while I am working or any time I need to remember something later in the day. The recordings are very clear and the playback options make it easy to review later. The microphone has settings for different recording environments.
